Ahoy, mateys! Big Brothers Big Sisters is recruiting volunteer crew members for the 2022 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic. There are multiple shifts to choose from on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Feb 25th-27th.
- Friday inside (9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m-8:00 p.m.)
- Saturday inside (5:30a.m.-11:00a.m. and 10:30a.m.-3:00p.m.)
- Saturday outside from (8:30a.m.-12:30p.m.)
- Sunday outside from (8:30a.m.-12:30p.m.)
To sign-up as a Big Brothers Big Sisters Crew Member, please click here and follow the link. When prompted, enter the access code BBBSTB and click the Validate button to view their unique shifts. If you are Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay volunteer, you must enter the access code BBBSTB to see your shift option. (Do not use T-shirt Distribution.)
As some crew members will be stationed inside of the Tampa Convention Center, several safety elements will be in place:
Everyone entering the Expo Hall will be required to wear a mask (as will we) and also produce either a vaccine card or a negative covid test within 72hrs of the event. To help maintain social distancing, there will be a limited number of people who are allowed to be in the Expo Hall at any one time. We will also have fewer volunteers in each of our shirt areas.
