DESCRIPTION:Ahoy\, mateys! Big Brothers Big Sisters is recruiting volunteer crew members for the 2022 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic. There are multiple shifts to choose from on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, Feb 25th-27th. \n\nFriday inside (9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m-8:00 p.m.)\nSaturday inside (5:30a.m.-11:00a.m. and 10:30a.m.-3:00p.m.)\nSaturday outside from (8:30a.m.-12:30p.m.)\nSunday outside from (8:30a.m.-12:30p.m.)\n\nTo sign-up as a Big Brothers Big Sisters Crew Member\, please click here and follow the link. When prompted\, enter the access code BBBSTB and click the Validate button to view their unique shifts. If you are Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay volunteer\, you must enter the access code BBBSTB to see your shift option. (Do not use T-shirt Distribution.) \nAs some crew members will be stationed inside of the Tampa Convention Center\,  several safety elements will be in place: \nEveryone entering the Expo Hall will be required to wear a mask (as will we) and also produce either a vaccine card or a negative covid test within 72hrs of the event. To help maintain social distancing\, there will be a limited number of people who are allowed to be in the Expo Hall at any one time. We are teaming up with Metropolitan Ministries to gift Thanksgiving meal boxes to our hungry neighbors in Hillsborough County. Sign up for a shift at the Tampa Holiday Tent for just a few hours and make all the difference for a family in need. Volunteers are needed to fill boxes & bags and hand out the food with a smile. \nMetro Ministries has allotted BBBSTB 3 slots to choose from:\n⌚ 10:45 am – 2:30 pm\n⌚ 2 pm – 6 pm\n⌚ 3 pm – 6:30 pm \nBigs\, you and your Little must both register for your desired shift HERE.\n \nMetropolitan Ministries serves 2\,736\,539 meals to hungry neighbors annually. Their mission is to assist houseless individuals and those at risk of becoming homeless. To our Bigs and supporters\, thank you for making our community brighter this season! We appreciate everything our volunteers do year-round for the kids in our program.
