DESCRIPTION:It is that time of year again…time to #RaysUp and volunteer for our favorite supporter\, the Tampa Bay Rays\, for their annual Shirts Off Our Backs fundraise benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay!\n\n\nVolunteers will join forces with Rays staff to offer scratch-off cards to fans in the ballpark in exchange for donations. Scratch-off prizes include offers such as game tickets\, in-ballpark offers\, and even the shirts off our backs! There are prizes for top individual sellers as well as the group who raises the most money over the seven-day event! You’ll be able to view all of the evening’s moments captured digitally\, including the themed green screen photos inspired by the art of Dr. Seuss. \n\nBig Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay is grateful for our philanthropic friends who ignite and empower our Littles’ potential by supporting our mentoring programs for more than 20 years. Your generous donations will match the 600 children on our waiting list with a supportive adult mentor in Hillsborough\, Pinellas\, Polk\, Pasco\, Citrus\, Hernando\, Sumter\, Marion\, and Alachua counties. \nOur signature event\, which began as an art auction and has evolved into a spectacular gala. Over 400 community and business leaders come together to be inspired as we share our mentoring programs’ impact on the children in our community. Guests have a further opportunity to invest in our programs by participating in our exciting auctions while enjoying a beautiful evening. \nMatching a child with a mentor costs $1\,500 per year—covering background checks and ongoing support services. These services are crucial to ensuring that each Big and Little match is successful. Last year\, 99% of the kids in our program went to the next grade level\, and 98% had no involvement with the juvenile justice system. There are multiple shifts to choose from on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, Feb 25th-27th. \n\nFriday inside (9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m-8:00 p.m.)\nSaturday inside (5:30a.m.-11:00a.m. and 10:30a.m.-3:00p.m.)\nSaturday outside from (8:30a.m.-12:30p.m.)\nSunday outside from (8:30a.m.-12:30p.m.)\n\nTo sign-up as a Big Brothers Big Sisters Crew Member\, please click here and follow the link. When prompted\, enter the access code BBBSTB and click the Validate button to view their unique shifts. If you are Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay volunteer\, you must enter the access code BBBSTB to see your shift option.
