Youth Mental Health First Aid

An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until April 27, 2021
Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8-hour training designed to teach adults how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing mental health or addiction challenges or is in crisis.
Topics covered include:
- Substance Use
- Disorders in which psychosis may occur
- Disruptive behavior disorders (including ADHD)
- Eating Disorders
Certification is ideal for parents, family members, caregivers,
teachers, youth volunteers, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens.
By signing up for this course below, you are committing to a five and a half hour, facilitator-led, group training course taking place by Zoom on the date you select, and you are confirming that you will complete the three hours of self-guided mandatory coursework (which will be sent to you by email within three business days) on your own time before your group training.
